Post by: henrik777 on August 27, 2009, 04:51:33 PM Ps if you want to stay with what you have and you are out of contact then phone up sky and aol and ask to cancel. When asked why tell them you can't afford it. They will give you a better deal (short term at least).

Told Pipex 'I'm leaving you, you bastards' and they gave me 8MB Broadband, Free evening and weekend calls, line rental and free porn for £16. I don't really need uuuberfast internets but if I did I'd leave Pipex, they throttle in the evening :s Title: Re: best all round internet/phone/tv provider? Post by: dousche on August 27, 2009, 05:21:38 PM i've had sky and virgin in the last two years and preferred sky by miles. although the weather can interrupt tv signals occasionally, virgin's tv service is worse for reliability - and dealing with their customer support when it does is nigh on impossible. we paid something like £56 pm last year for tv (inc sport and movies and some other stuff), broadband and landline - twas much better than the (slightly) cheaper virgin we had the year before
