Met up with outragous76 (Guy) last night and we hit the £5 rebuy at Duffs.. Guy has written a superb review of the place here http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=43895.0

Anyway .. long story short, I cashed 3rd for £68 ... should have won the lot but got fished out twice 3 handed... Schooled Guy a few times on the FT, but modesty prevents me from gloating :D


Now the genius part ... Went for a wee and in the toilets they had a little silver basket by the sinks ... in this basket were 9 yes thats right, NINE cans of deodorant .. all different.  How genius is that, so bloody simple yet so brilliant ... why doesn't every poker room/casino do the same.

There have been perfumes and toiletries in ladies loos for a long time but I've not seen them in a poker room loo yet. Did they have them i the ladies too or were they discriminating and suggesting that only men smell?

they tried the old toilet assistant thing in woolwich when they first opened a witherspoons(high class gaff for woolwich) but everyone kept beating him up, they had to have one bouncer on the door and one in the toilet before they decided just to give up

nope, it was me that used to beat him up, but i only did it to nick the coppers out of his bowl

My final table draw was terribad with Kev to my left and another big stack to his - i raise folded off my CL more times than tommy mthfkn C.

I also spazzed of 15bb's with k4ss  - convincing myself i was 'way ahead' of the table rocks 4x from the CO....... - Kev - i cant even begin to tell you my thought process but it all made sense for about the half a milli second before i jammed knowing she wasnt passing - meh!

Running like stephen hawkins helped too

lol. wtf were they thinking. putting a bowl of pound coins and a load of aftershaves in the toilet of a woolwich pub and expecting them to not get nicked. that was never going to go well
