Title: Turn action? Post by: T_Mar on September 08, 2009, 10:38:50 AM Apologies for lack of hand history, am at work, hopefully clear enough.
Last 100 of 40buck 6-max on stars, villian has been playing pretty loose, and stack has been fluctuating, have seen him call a raise from blinds with 64o earlier which he got to showdown with I'm presuming cbetting is standard on this flop. Stuck with best line on the turn, If I bet am I committed to calling a shove? Or is bet/fold an option (assuming his shoving range has us cooked??) If I decide to check/call turn, should I be check/folding or check/calling the river unimproved?? Thoughts please! ta Hero: (UTG +1) 12k Vllian: (Button) 15k Blinds 300 150 25 Dealt to Hero: Jd Kd Hero: Raise to 800 Villian: Calls 800 Flop: Js 5s 9h (Pot: 2200) Hero: Bet 1475 Villian: Calls 1475 Turn: Js 5s 9h 2c (Pot: 5150) Hero: ??? Title: Re: Turn action? Post by: boldie on September 08, 2009, 11:12:26 AM Bet/snap or c-raise if you think he'll bet turn if checked to. This. He could have plenty hands you're ahead off. I prefer to check-raise if at all possible. Title: Re: Turn action? Title: Re: Turn action? Post by: ALASKAN5IVE on September 08, 2009, 12:13:44 PM bet/snap here - second barrel is more prone for ppl to take off imo, possibly c bet less tho on the flop maybe?? like 1125 is fine, plus then you can 3 bet get it in when he raises......
Title: Re: Turn action? Post by: T_Mar on September 09, 2009, 10:53:02 AM I did bet/call the turn thinking i was commited but not sure I liked it afterwards as didn't think there were that many hands I was beatign that he would shove there?! Not sure I can bet/fold though

Quite like this, although I seen him try to get to showdown with marginal hands already so not sure he would raise me with much I was beating... draws probably |
