Post by: AlexMartin on September 08, 2009, 09:32:14 PM
No real reads apart from flop caller has been quite loose passive. Turn is bet call better than check?

LIMPA_DIRR folded
midein folded
63jimboy folded
matty19 called - 700.00
bartboos folded
hanitz called - 700.00

** Dealing the flop: 4d, 6d, 8s
hanitz checked
_HaMmerHead_ bet - 1675.00
matty19 folded
hanitz called - 1675.00

** Dealing the turn: 8h
hanitz checked
_HaMmerHead_ bet - 2950.00

ok, cant get this HH right, delete this thread please mods

Alex I think we have to bear in mind meta-game is crucial here. We want to rangemerge vs the spewy aggro fish with whom we have history by burning money to induce a light three bet and enhance a higher variance 33/14 style play. I know our image is bellybusting lagtard who has just shown down air on a dry board after firing 3 barrels but it's important not to perceive fold equity that isn't there on semi-reppable boards as we just cant credibly rep a very polarised range here. With blockers its fine, wp etc but otherwise I think this is more scarlet pimpernel than artful dodger esp when we consider he induced light 5-bet when button straddled EP open with marginal holdings.

Hope this helps.
