blonde poker forum

I am currently in limbo as to whether to purchase a table or continue to make do with the normal bog standard dinning table. My budget can probably reach £250-£300 tops - i'd rather spend about £150 but am willing to strech it if it makes sense.  (whenever i buy something expensive I take into account how long it will last, thus giving a fee per yr, i.e a £150 table lasting 5yrs actually costs me £30per yr. - geek i know, but does allow me to justify blowing my money sometimes!)
So I would like to hear from anyone on their thoughts on the following tables and their thoughts on purchasing a table, e.g what are the most important aspects on their list, felt, arm rests, cupholders, size etc. More importantly where did you get it from and what was the cost and what you think of the table? Have you had to ever refelt the table was it cost effective?

I bought a fantastic one on ebay for £76  bargain!!
with cupholders, dealers tray and seats 10 comfortably

If there is a costco near you get in there, they do a 8 man table for £62, its a doozy, i have one.

a mate bought the one from sportshq in your post.  I have never seen it but he reckons its excellent and like the ones in the gutshot which if its true means its quite decent for a home game.

Also heard that costco have good ones so i will pop down there to take a look

i have the one from sportshq - great table, but legs need to be screwed on each time - only 5 mins before and after game.  Its an excellent table - well worth the money.

I bought one on ebay for £60 (+delivery so be careful as some places sting you here) its round six seater with cup holder spaves and really looks the business. It has foldable metal legs too, for easy storage. I think they do a 10 seater too and they're not much more expensive.

Recently got one off ebay as a table top. Dont have space to take down dining table and then put up a poker table. if your limited for space then this is ok and definitely the cheap option (poor student  :( ) use the link if you want to see it

but have you got any pics to hand? would be great to see a proper photo of one.
i will keep any eye out for them on ebay - but it is ebay so won't hold my breath.

Unless your going to have a dealer then a round one is better for home games.
