Title: How the beep am I meant to get to Murten! Post by: StuartHopkin on September 21, 2009, 07:51:10 PM I need to be in Murten for 6pm on the 1st November.
Anyone got any tips? So far its either drive to dover, ferry to calais, drive to murten, possibly the day before so I could stop at a hotel on the way. Or fly from luton with sleazyjet into zurich on the friday night, have a couple of nights in zurich then get the train to murten sunday morning, back to zurich monday lunch to fly back to luton and then drive home. get the overnight ferry harwich to den haag. almost exactly the same drive time den haag to murten as calais to murten but you get a cabin on the ferry for a kip and they've got blackjack tables. it gets in at about 6 in the morning, then 7 hour drive. simple on the way back stop in at amsterdam for fun and frolics 1/2 hour from where your ferry leaves from also less driving for you in the uk to get to harwich than dover Title: Re: How the beep am I meant to get to Murten!
