Last Man Standing is a simple game, all you have to do to stay in the game is select a team that is going to win. If you select a losing team, you're out. The LMS scoops the lot.

I propose a $20 game to start this Saturday. Transfers to scotty2hatty on FT, or thanx4chips on Stars. Be good to get a good few in this.

Rules

1. You must select a team to win in any game from England (EPL down to League 2) or Scotland (SPL down to 3rd Division) each weekend.

2. The game must be a 3pm KO.

3. You cannot select the same team twice.

4. All selections to me by 12pm on the Saturday. I will then post selections on the public forum. If you forget to pick a selection, you are eliminated. You are also eliminated if you pick a team you have selected in a previous week or chose a team not in a 3pm KO.

5. If your selection wins, you move on to the following week. If your team loses or draws, you are out.

6. Game finishes when only one player remains.

2 questions

-do abandoned/postponed games mean you lose?
-if all remaining players pick a loser do they play again the next week or is it a chop?

knew i'd miss a few points

1. Rare occurance but obv unfair to lose in this situation. If player can't be contacted to change selection, then we'll have to let them pick a Sunday alternative surely.

2. play again til last man standing.

and play imo.

I will enter assuming we can enter via posting on here and you will accept entries up until 3 pm (im not up much before then).

There is atiming on the forum so you will know when people will post their entry.

Posting on forum is fine I suppose, was mainly to avoid any tactical play.

The timing thing was so I could have everyone's selection before I go out and then list 'em on the forum. How about 12? You can select before the Saturday obv.

Yup there running one every week apparently last weeks one had 800+ runners, it's saying 10k for the winner but im not sure if they're adding money to the prizepool or what the story is, i cant find anything on it about the payout, and god knows how long they go on for but i spose for a tenner its a good sweat if i can get a run in it!

This seems a bit harsh to me,surely you will be keeping track of who we pick so if we do pick the same team then you will inform us so we can change, also if someone forgets to pick a team in any given week then imo that player should be just assigned a team alphabetically that they havent used , seems fairer than just eliminating someone.

Remembering who you've picked before is part of the game. As is remembering to pick a team.

Lol, no. I said in an earlier post when u asked that selections were to be PM'd. Mine is on here because I will be receiving everyone's by PM and could possibly use that to my advantage.

I still think it would be better if we could see everyone selections.  Would make it more tactical and a better comp.

All he would have to do is come onto the thread after the game finishes and check peoples selections.  Going to be more hassle getting everything via PM.

I like the idea of posting on the thread as long as in any given week 2 people cannot go for the same team so getting in first has an advantage
