Crystal Palace Yes Im thinking I got the tactics all wrong for this punt..........sigh......... ;hattip; How many weeks before we can start again? I dont think so Mr Bruce ;cupcake; ;letsparty; Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Scottish Dave on September 28, 2009, 03:00:55 PM With regards how many weeks till it starts again, im think about 15 - 20 games, so roughly Jan or Feb IMO
unless there is a crazy upset's weekend! Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: boldie on September 28, 2009, 03:55:50 PM With regards how many weeks till it starts again, im think about 15 - 20 games, so roughly Jan or Feb IMO unless there is a crazy upset's weekend! yeah this could run a while...though we did lose 20% of people in the first week...and there were some easy games to be found. The first few weeks will be fairly straightforward (so I'll be out soon enough) as everyone still has the big teams available.....in 12 weeks it should be really tough though. Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: gatso on September 28, 2009, 03:59:14 PM highly unlikely that with 27 runners there'll still be 2 or more going in 15 weeks. picking 15 straight winners is not that easy
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Josedinho on September 28, 2009, 03:59:35 PM I predict a week 7 finish.
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: sweet potata! on September 28, 2009, 04:00:27 PM I predict a week 7 finish. I predict Trigg starting a book on this. Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Blatch on September 28, 2009, 04:04:42 PM Its normally done with just premiership teams, that gets very tough after 3 or 4 weeks
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Josedinho on September 28, 2009, 04:06:11 PM It's only Saturday 3pm's - big teams play earlier or later and with European games midweek more games are moved to Sunday. Old firm often aren't Saturday 3pm as they are televised. Knowledge of the lower leagues/scottish leagues will probably help but certainly in the championship it's not a massive shock if top of the league draw with bottom of the league.
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Matt50 on September 28, 2009, 04:47:28 PM Just had a quick look through this Saturday's games and there are none that stand out as massive odds on.
Could be a lot of casualties this week. Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: boldie on September 28, 2009, 04:51:15 PM Just had a quick look through this Saturday's games and there are none that stand out as massive odds on. Could be a lot of casualties this week. I've already picked mine and would be stunned if they got beat TBH (also won't be more than 2-5 on) . but it's a bit trickier than last week. Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Longy on September 28, 2009, 05:04:48 PM Just had a look through next Sat's 3 ko's, looks a really tough list. Think I know who my pick is going to be, but I am not particularly excited about being picking it.
Boldie fancy making a bet that I can find any team availble for selection at better price than 1.5 Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: boldie on September 28, 2009, 05:09:19 PM PM sent...I'll be surprised if they will be over 1.5 TBH. (but am also happy I don't have to price the footie up)
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Scottish Dave on September 28, 2009, 08:23:07 PM I already have mine picked, and im fairly confident of it, put it this way, it will be a coupon buster if they don't win this game!
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: boldie on September 28, 2009, 08:25:11 PM Longy told me my pick is quite a bit over 1.5...amazing IMO.
Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Scottish Dave on September 28, 2009, 10:03:55 PM Longy told me my pick is quite a bit over 1.5...amazing IMO. all the prices are already up for next weekend, my pick is a similar price to yours Title: Re: Last Man Standing - Week 1 Post by: Matt.NFFC. on October 01, 2009, 10:57:55 AM How many of us are left in this?
