Title: 3 Post by: vinni on September 26, 2009, 12:19:40 PM OK i haven't posted on this part of the forum for a couple of months as i was running so bad it was untrue .
hopefully i have turned the corner ,so here's a few bets for you . 2.30 ASCOT ; HIGH TWELVE ,this is of a good man who is in the know .he has had his biggest bet on it . the next 2 are dogs this week ,on Tuesday there is a dog at Sheffield in the 8.47 race . swift ninja will be fav for this race ,but the race will be won by RUN OF THE HAWK . the next one is an anty post bet for the laurels that starts on October 1st ,the dog in question was formally a sprinter ,but has won 4 times around bell vue ,the last time being a four bend race ,to which the dog stayed on strongly after leading all the way . CENTAUR ALLSTAR at around 12/1 . Title: Re: 3 Post by: Horneris on September 26, 2009, 12:20:59 PM cheers Barry, im on the horse.
Title: Re: 3 Post by: GreekStein on September 26, 2009, 12:51:44 PM OK i haven't posted on this part of the forum for a couple of months I know, I've missed you and blonde isn't the same without you. Title: Re: 3 Post by: bolt pp on September 26, 2009, 12:55:36 PM you seem to buzz on the horses and had a couple of near misses but are just plain terrible with the dogs so i'll swerve the greyhounds and have a look at the horse
Title: Re: 3 Post by: vinni on September 27, 2009, 12:06:39 PM ffs the jock never got the horse in the race ,this was a huge gamble that went wrong .
lets hope the dogs can get me out of the hole. Title: Re: 3 Post by: Biddy 62 on September 27, 2009, 04:06:41 PM I think the trouble with tips these days is Betfair. They can tell you one and lay it. I think a trainer got done for it.
Title: Re: 3 Post by: Royal Flush on September 28, 2009, 01:33:42 PM lol more problem is why would they give away free info thus ruining their own prices, it makes no sense.
Title: Re: 3 Post by: vinni on September 28, 2009, 04:11:18 PM it was a pro punter who gave me this he had 65k on the thing at 4/1 ,he probably laid it of at some point.

Sixty five thousand pounds is a lot of money Title: Re: 3 Post by: scotty2hatty on September 29, 2009, 01:19:33 AM re: the dog tomorrow
I'd rather oppose favourite with T1 tbh Title: Re: 3 Post by: scotty2hatty on September 29, 2009, 08:55:34 PM Run of the Hawk wins @ 7/4
Title: Re: 3 Post by: Biddy 62 on September 29, 2009, 09:26:39 PM Nice one Vinni, hope you lumped on.

Because they are already on! Obviously there was reasonable info as it broke the track record. But if I am on at 4/1, I don't mind encouraging the world to back it in to even money, kinda gives me options thereafter... Love, someone who has struggled to get 5k on @ odds on and is known as a mug punter. Title: Re: 3 Post by: Simon Galloway on September 30, 2009, 02:40:32 PM I didn't say I believed 65k went on. If it did, it wasn't with a regular bookmaker.
Title: Re: 3 Post by: Rookie (Rodney) on September 30, 2009, 02:53:58 PM It was on a horse, the 65k demps. But even still its obv an exaggerated sum of money.
Title: Re: 3 Post by: GreekStein on September 30, 2009, 03:42:59 PM Are you guys accusing my friend Barry of exaggeration!?
Title: Re: 3 Post by: vinni on September 30, 2009, 05:33:00 PM this is no exaggerated sum of money ,he`s the second biggest punter on the footy (behind tony bloom ) he is big m8ts with harry Findley .
it went on in differant forms through out the day. Title: Re: 3 Post by: GreekStein on September 30, 2009, 05:35:14 PM this is no exaggerated sum of money ,he`s the second biggest punter on the footy (behind tony bloom ) he is big m8ts with harry Findley . it went on in differant forms through out the day. Congrats on your 2000th post Barry. It's been a pleasure. I'm mates with someone called Harry too. Title: Re: 3 Post by: scotty2hatty on September 30, 2009, 09:39:24 PM Had a look at the Laurels starting tomorrow and Centaur Allstar would have been good value at the 12s Barry quoted. It's now best price 8/1 with PP and as short at 5/1 in some places.
I think the best value now is to back Slick Ace @ 7/1 - has good early and ran 27:65 last time out which is fast and a length faster than anything else in this. gogogogogo |
