Title: any way to rescue a drowned i-pod

The missus dropped mine in the loo earlier much frantic drying using hair dryer etc thing still won't switch on. it's buggered right?   ;grr;

Put it somewhere warm like an airing cupboard leave it 3-4 days, its worked with phones before.

there is no sun in the west of ireland just cloud and drizzle. airing cupboard it is.

try and source some of those packs of silica gel balls you get packaged with all sorts of stuff, and seal them in a ziploc bag with the ipod for a few days, and put it somewhere dry and warm.

Might be too late - but try this.....

Remove battery, wipe it down. Put all parts, separately, in the airing cupboard for 24 hours - should work.....
