Looks like 6 players left from the HH.

Perhaps it's just me but I like the shove here. If our A is live we're in a good spot equity wise. If not we just need to bink and we're in with a good shot at taking it down.

Call pre is fine if you plan on getting it in on this kind of flop. If not then you should pass.

This isn't a cash game though so equity shouldn't be our first concern. We can't risk the bulk/all of our stack on a flush draw and one over that may or may not be good with 75 bigs.

Hmmmm. Thought we weren't quite so deep. Had blinds at 400.

Pass pre then.

200 into 1300 this deep and a small suited ace, I'm calling every time.

Is this a leak?

I was just about to ask the same question...

If its not a leak, and I don't think it is at the odds offered...then we have to be prepared to get it in on more flops than A4x or 44x only don't we?

we probably would have done on this flop had it not gone check, bet, reraise all in

Not really a leak I don't think and I make the call myself. However I make the call with the intention of getting all my chips in if I make a nut flush draw.

This is obviously different because I usually want to get my chips in first with some FE but I still like to call here.

Martos' bet here stinks of a draw. He can easily have JQ here possibly spades so we've go him crushed. Yes he could have made 2 pair or a set but if he has then good luck we need to hit. If he's just got a pair then our A is hopefully live.

Ddomos could've hit hard following his min raise pre but if that's the case we've got 40k+ in the middle and we're very much live with our draw.

Worse case is DD with a big made hand and Martos on a flush draw. If that is the case we're fooked but he needs a very strong hand to call the shove / reshove. AK possibly wouldn't be enough, I think he needs AA or a set.

I don't mind calling a bet once we flop the nut flush draw or getting it in as the aggressor but I think calling it off here is a big mistake and too aggro for a tournament.

Preflop is fine.

Why would we ever call that flop shove? Costing us 10.5k to win ~13.5k. IF the other guy comes along for the ride we're playing for about ~40k, costing us 15k to win it. But this is a big if. And if he does have a set in this spot then we are not getting the price to call.

Easy fold for me.

I passed, and eventually lost HU to ddomo

If martos folds leaving me to act against ddomo's pot-sized bet do we call / fold / shove?

How is everyone so deep 6 left? Dont get it? As for the play, i dont mind the iso jam either.

£2 rb $100gtd
Structure is pretty slow and there's a 4,000 chip add-on at the first break ($2 initial=2,000 chips).
Typically between 20-25 runners and prize pool reaches c$150.
After the break blinds start at 150/300 and rise pretty slow.

Mind you, today was exceptional in that it was finished an hour ahead of average.
