would definitely lead the flop just cos tons of worse hands are gonna call and having the intiative on the turn is gonna be pretty huge.  i'd fold now with all these callers since we're in a pretty terrible reverse implied situation (we're gonna be paying off better hands far too often)

You've put 40 chips in to flop a str8 draw or two pair or better in a six-way pot. You didn't flop it. Check-fold to a larger bet. Call this 160 to try and spike a J, T or 9. If you hit one, check and re-evaluate. If you don't, check-fold.

Hate leading out on flop here, your hand is just too vulnerable to be worth protecting in a 6-way pot, especially out of position and especially when you have only 40 chips invested.

Betting out on this flop is the road to Palookaville.

we arn't betting to protect our hand, we are betting it because worse hands than ours will call.
