Title: a very strange situation
Post by: gatso on October 21, 2009, 07:26:54 PM
you're happily playing away on a few tables when up pops a 6 seater don.

hero in the bb at 150/300 with 1845 behind, it's 5 handed and 2 players are all in in front

action on you, you have  Kd 8s

a quick check of the 2 ai players' stacks tells us one is in for 550, one for a little less. lovely stuff, 250 to call and we win the tourney if we take the hand. insta snap fistpump finger in the air cawl....

....except there's no bloody call button. the 2 options we're facing are fold or allin for 1845

which button do we click?

ok, my thought process in the few seconds I had- the software obv has a glitch, either the buttons are wrong in which case ai is best or the stacks are wrong in which case I have no idea what's best but I don't want to be calling ai with k8o

actually the above is not true. that's what my thought process should've been. what actually went through my mind was 'aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhh. wtf, aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh. fuck it, all in'

I was then quite surprised when I lost my hand and was eliminated from the tournament

no hh in text form as this one was on sky. first ai was for 2610 with  Ahrt 4d called ai by  5c Jc with an 1845 stack (good call)

I assumed I was going mad until similar happened in another game 10 minutes later. turns out that last night's upgrade was a bit screwy and in 2 particular seats if a player bet more than 1k an unrelated 3 figure sum was shown as their bet

I got a ss of the 2nd time it happened luckily, not sure they would've believed me otherwise.

they paid out as though I'd won the tourney once they'd had a look so it all ended well
