Got toally flummoxed by Washington because I spelt the Canadian capital wrong, plus knew which country's capital was closest to Moscow but couldn't remember its name.

Rome was cheeky.

6, would have been seven but couldn't spell the one closest to Beijing.

damn that's hard.  I hadn't heard of some of the places and some of those I had heard of, I hadn't heard of the closest capital!

Obv I failed 2/10!

sigh, spent 1/2 the time getting london. then added moscow, canberra, washington, rome and muscat for 6

if i could spell i would of had 5

however - surley closest to london is cardiff????

AA says 151 miles by road - so teh quiz sucks!

I didn't get the Rome one. Wish I'd seen the thread later then I'd have got it from Andrew's clue.

I knew watching the Eurovision Song Contest every year would prove to be eduational one day

this one tilted the hell out of me as not only did they not colour in kaliningrad the map showed a coutry between kaliningrad and lithuania which wouldn't go away despite me shouting at the computer that it doesn't exist

would've been much easier a few years ago when 7 of them were in the soviet union and about 6 in yugoslavia

Anyone remember that flash game where you had to throw darts at the worlds capitals and it calculated your score by how far you missed?

got stuck at 92 onwards -  ran out of toes, fingers, etc

easy - first attempt. reckon i could shave 5 seconds off at least.

It's actually fairly easy if you know roughly where it is... Didn't get Rome though obviously. Thought Havana was probably the hardest, no real idea where anything is round there. 10/16.
