Title: Live cash spot
Post by: AlexMartin on October 22, 2009, 03:55:00 AM
6 handed, 1/2. folded round to button who makes it £12 (£500), guy is reasonable, fairly tightish. You call from the SB with  Ahrt 8h (500). BB, bad fishy (50) calls.

Flop   Qh Th 4s

As flop is dealt tight guy insta looks at flop then looks at chips, almost in a fluid movement. You check, BB jams £40 into £40ish. Button isolates to £100.

Best course of action is?

question i ask myself here is why i called a 6x raise oop with a shortie stack behind in bb   . reverse implied odds for these reasons in this spot. folding pre is fine me thinks here. reverse implied odds are more so for the shortstacker behind then the 6x pre flop raise. if u insist on spewing money raise 72 more often . post flop i cant see how u can get it in good equity wise in a protected pot so just let it go me thinks :(

you are the SB - so you lead for the pot?

if didn't lead i would seriously consider folding.

meh, i probably fold in this spot. tight button player obv has a hand, so we need to hit our flush, which we have to play OOP if we call.

fold pre I think...

tough spot, I hate folding here but looks like best option. Very possible an Ace is no good for us, and we're likely to get pushed off at the turn anywayz...

I think def fold, seems to be very little FE in shoving and flatting is a bit ugly

i call pre 100% of the time here though, esp in a live game.
