If he get the Boro job, id love to see him do well, i like the wee man really, but he was sending celtic backwards at the end and had to go, we currently still employ his team apart from 4 Mowbray signings, and we are pure pish. What an odd opinion I'm delighted if it isn't Nigel Pearson, quite surprised really they don't just skip an appointment and go for him. Strachan though will be excellent at Boro. I liked him at Southampton and always thought he talked sense when used as an analysist on M.O.T.D and things like that. He had an attitude problem and alienated a large proportion of the Celtic fans with some insane comments. He was never liked by the vast majority in the first place and needed to get the fans onboard but he felt that he was more important than the fans.
That said, I think its apparent now watching Celtic under Mowbray that Strachan wasn't as bad as many Celtic fans thought. Good luck to him anyway. Good luck to the Boro fans as well. I hope as a Celtic fan though that Strachan comes in for Caldwell, McManus, Brown and McDonald. |
