Hi Mandy,

Whilst i appreciate that this may be the case i play a reasonable amount on your site and think its obsurd to restrict such a small cashout for these reasons, it is definitely to your discretion and your licensing argument appears quite seriously flawed given the ilegality with which you still accept US poker players. This smacks of a greedy site in a time of recession.

1) pls explain what laws make it illegal for stars to accept us players

they did this with the nun when players sent money for reece
no way round it as far as i know

I've had this happen to me too. Its out of order imo.If the monies are in your account they are effectively yours so why shouldn't you be able to withdraw them!

i can see why they do it and have had a similar thing happen whilst i was receiving stakes for live events but not much online.

Definitely discretionary i've frequently had live stakes sent to me on stars and been able to withdraw the full amount to my Neteller, never had a cashout questioned. Been a bonafide Supernova for 2 or 3 years maybe they've taken that into account.

I've had this problem but when I did, I had to earn 10% of what had been transferred in FPP's. Mine was for $110 so I had to earn $11 in FPPs. Weird that you haven't been given this option.

Alex sure hasn't just been perma-doomswitched at Stars.

Pretty standard response from Stars IMO. Getting themselves in the shit with the IOM FSC (http://"http://www.gov.im/fsc/") over potential money laundering is not in their game plan.

I had similar when I depositted and then tried to withdraw before I had played.

I emailed back saying "but it's my money!! How can you refuse to give it back!? If you refuse to give me my money it's basically theft. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. etc. etc......."

Got it eventually.
