Title: F1 Abu Dhabi GP
Post by: Rod on November 01, 2009, 12:31:19 PM
Just looking at the odds on betfair they have Ruben at 5/4 to beat Button. This sounds like very good value to me? Anybody agree/disagree am I missing something. Rubens is 4th on the grid with button fueled one lap longer in 5th.

Ruben is also going for 2nd in the championship.

I'll play devils advocate and say button wont be racing cautiously as he was the previous races as hes locked up the championship

Actually that is a very good point. Button should be racing to win and will want to win the last race of the season to cap off his championship. Both are going to have to be agressive early though due to their light fuel loads. I honestly would make Rubens slight favourite over Button.

I'd say the odds reflect the fact that button's the better driver of the 2

had to laugh at eddie jordan just grabbing hold of the crown prince of bharain on the grid

No didn't back it still not 100% convinced it was a bad bet though long way to go and there is not much in it.

Race is good so far though.

Yes, that could have been bad at the moment Vettel look really good although I think Lewis will get passed even if Vettel goes ahead after the pit stops.

bit sick now. I was putting a bet on pre race, the field vs lewis @ 2/1, just had to click to confirm it but backed out at the last moment

have to win at nfl to make up for it
