I check get led in to and fold as still one player to act. I had no reads on the players. player who stayed in and lost the hand was on a straight draw with 9 10.

When you check the turn it looks like you've given up so top pair man quite rightly bets thinking he's winning. If you now call the turn bet your oppo won't have a clue what you have so you'll likely get a nice cheap showdown if that's what you want as he'll be petrified of the c/r. I reviewed the hand myself and reached the same conclusion. Just wanted to confirm. I think I have been playing loose and calling to much when beat. Overthought it and beat myself this time.
