Title: given the choice Post by: Ironside on June 01, 2005, 05:33:12 PM if you lived in the middle of 6 casinos/card rooms all offering an equal service and there was nothing to split them apart from there choice of game which would you prefer to play
Title: Re: given the choice Post by: RED-DOG on June 01, 2005, 05:39:38 PM 100 freezeout, but what I prefer and what I can afford might be two different things
Title: Re: given the choice Post by: snoopy1239 on June 01, 2005, 05:43:02 PM 100 freezout every time. Make the big pocket gamblers play some proper poker. ;D
Title: Re: given the choice Post by: tikay on June 01, 2005, 07:19:21 PM Is it a smoking cardroom, or non-smoking.....? Give me the Freezeout every time. Title: Re: given the choice Post by: snoopy1239 on June 02, 2005, 12:14:04 AM wow - I hope the gala gets to see the results of this poll.
Something tells me the 100 freezeout will earn even more votes. Title: Re: given the choice Post by: AdamM on June 02, 2005, 10:58:21 AM I voted 50, only because I haven't got 100 at the minute, but can win 50 in a home game and invest it in Nottingham.
Title: Re: given the choice Post by: Malc-M on June 02, 2005, 11:03:51 AM Has to be the freezeout Ironside-- Given a good clock it would make for better Poker.
Malc-M Title: Re: given the choice Post by: TightEnd on June 02, 2005, 01:35:55 PM Has to be the freezeout. With one caveat. The Vic for example started a Tuesday night 300+30 freezeout. Whilst I can afford it the Tuesday night one in particular sounded just what I was after compared to the 10 beginners night at Luton. Nothing against beginners, it didn't help my game. Great I thought..but the clock was 30mins and only 3000 Chips and it was all in or fold two levels after the first break!
