Title: It Could Be a Landmark Week for My Lady Golfer Post by: Karabiner on November 05, 2009, 12:05:51 PM This week sees Ji-Yai Shin play in the Mizuno Championship in Japan, an event which she won by six shots last year.
The tournament is being played on the same course which obviously helps. JYS currently tops the LPGA money list and is bidding to become the first rookie since Nancy Lopez fifty years or so ago to end up as leading money-winner and rookie of the year. She already has three victories this season. I fancy her quite strongly to seal the deal this week and have lumped on accordingly @ 7/1 which was the best I could find. The two Koreans In-Kyung Kim and Inbee Park are both very good players and capable of winning imo, as is the Japanese girl Ai Miyazato who is like a female Tiger Woods in Japan. I make them the main dangers. I don't know anything about the girl that's leading.
