Title: WSOP Final Table betting Post by: Betfair Poker Guy on November 05, 2009, 10:10:43 PM There is a market on Betfair for the WSOP winner which is hotting up nicely. Are any of you guys betting or have you bet on the Final Table?
I'm up all night listening to the Bluff live broadcast and thinking of putting a few quid on here and there as players bust out. Any tips? My thoughts are here: http://betting.betfair.com/poker/bloggers/2009-wsop-main-event-final-table-odds-051109.html Title: Re: WSOP Final Table betting Post by: Longy on November 05, 2009, 10:24:04 PM I am tempted to lay Ivey, I don't care how good he is. He simply doesn't have the kind of edge in this field to justify being so short with his chip stack. I think the value is elsewhere even possibly Darvin, I mean is he really as bad as he is making himself out to be.

I think he's far too short to back and if he doubles up or adds 2-4m to his stack the odds will plumet. According to reports Moon is weak-tight so it he'll probably get down to short-handed as he won't be in any pots. I might stick a few quid on Shulman as he has a good record even if he is a moody tosser! He's been smashed in the face by the deck but he's not a complete idiot like he makes out, in a recent episode he surprised me by flatting J9o otb and c/r a cbet with air. I agree that Ivey is a lay atm, I think there's value in Cada/Buchman and Moon for sure.
