Really hard to tell from that story what the hell is going on. The journalist clearly hasn't got a clue what he is talking about.

The journalist clearly hasn't got a clue what he is talking about.

No the woman is actually claiming all this - the journo is just writing it down.  She is a 2+2 poster and admitted multi-accounter.

1   The Claimant a professional poker player and user of the Web site Fulltiltpoker.com has had funds confiscated for more than $80,000 of her winnings. The defendant accuses her of using "robots" to beat other players.
   
2   The Claimant claims the site's operators created the "robots"-- computer programs that sit in against human players, ostensibly to fill out slow virtual tables -- to increase house profits, because the programs can easily beat unskilled or moderately skilled players. When the "robots" became unpopular with other players, the site created a zero-tolerance policy against them, even encouraging and paying players to expose those who might be using them.

3   In 2007 a "favoured" player accused The Claimant of using robots. The Claimant denies the charges and even broadcast her games live via Web cam to prove it. Full Tilt confiscated her player account containing more than $80,000.
   

4   The Claimant claims for damages in respect of racketeering, fraud, libel and slander.
   
5   As a result of the breach described in paragraph 4 above, the Claimant has suffered loss and damage.

6   Further the Claimant claims interest under section 35A of the Senior Poker Courts Act 1981 on such damages as she shall be awarded for such period and at such rate as the court shall think just.
   
7   The Claimant confirms that it has complied with sections III and IV of the Practice Direction for Pre-Action Conduct prior to commencing these Court proceedings.

Regardless of the truth, I think FT will pay her off just to keep this out of the public eye, especially with the looming UIGEA
