Good read. My main complaint recently is they seem to be staging lots of errors for no particular reason. Eg, in the last ep Hammond's painting falling into the water. May's sculpture falling over. Jeremy driving the art car into a ditch. wtf was the point of any of these? The most cringworthy one was the electric car they pushed into a tree and then turned around pretending nothing was happening. Things going wrong are funny when they actually go wrong. The dude in the white car can pass on the dodgy side imo. he'd already mentioned that they switch sides a lot with seemingly no logic and in several of the shots earlier people were driving on the left on something that tight with a death drop on your left it makes sense to drive on the left so the driver on the edge can see where his wheels are in relation to the edge if I'm actually there though I'm just parking up as far from the edge as possible and letting the other dude squeeze past in his own time Title: Re: the boys are back Post by: snoopy1239 on December 28, 2009, 07:07:47 PM Gonna give it a miss 'cos I'll have to watch it a gazillion times on Dave, so at least it'll be a gazillion minus one.

I'm guessing it was and it wasn't. They were probably driving along and found a narrow bit they thought would be good to film and just filmed it. Seemed like whichever way you look at it he had to drive along a terrifying bit. |
