WEDNESDAY 18th NOVEMBER

TUESDAY 24th NOVEMBER

THURSDAY 26th NOVEMBER

The 8 players who post the highest finishing spot from any of the 3 games will be put forward for the "official" blonde team. YOU MUST POST BEFORE EACH GAME YOU PLAY to register your participation in the team selection process, this post must include your blonde poker room screen name, you must play the games on the blonde skin to qualify. you may play in 1, 2 or all 3 of the games...


While I appreciate some people have cashflow issues, I have tried to give a bit of notice so hopefully you can find a way of getting a few quid online to have a bash at the $11 games.

Well didn't exactly manage to win the lot in the end *lol*. Ended up in 47th place after being short stacked for a while and pushing with J-7 after it folded to me and got called bt A-8. Ace on the flop was gg me. Cashed for a massive $38.01 though after playing for the best part of 4 hours *lol*.

Now just need to wait and see if 47th is good enough.

Out in 87th after the devil hand (AQ) got crushed by J10 for a 26k pot.  With just under 2k left I shoved with KJ and couldn't pull off any of the gazillion outs vs. 66.  Sighhhhhh.

Kinfishy still going with 9k and blinds at 600/1200 ante 120.  Needs a double up or two, but running like his good friend God atm, so will surely get it!

For hotel I'd recommend the Park Inn by Victoria Station (http://www.parkinn.com/hotels/manpc) - I stayed there for the Sky Poker thing and it's brand new and within walking distance of the Manchester G.

I've noticed a pattern - I'm pretty sure somebody says this about almost every hotel that people stay at to play poker.

As for flights, I can do like Brendan and fly in early Saturday morning.  That said, I don't mind.  lol  Knowing how myself and TheDuke work...I'll probably fly in Friday.  Just to check out the place, ya know.  Back to Cork on Monday is the only 'for sure' so far, but I'll keep you posted.

Right then, hotels.  I've done a search of the hotels in the area and the Park Inn is deffo the one imo.  Priced it and the Travelodge.  TL is only coming in at £5 per night cheaper.  Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ok with spending an extra fiver for 'brand new' over a beat up TL.  Park Inn is £51 per night for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Since I don't want any of ye feeling pressured, send me your thoughts via PM (which will be kept confidential) and I'll post when we have a general yes or no on the idea.  If you've found a better deal or whatever add that to your PM.  Cheers!
