After seeing a tv advert i (being the nosey type)thought i would check it out.I was just wondering if anybody off here has any experience or tips on how to go about. If you dont know its a penny auction site (all seems abit absurd to me) would appreciate any feed back....even if its  dont touch em....cheers and hello all GAZ

good question sir,yes you have to buy bids ie it costs about £1 per bid. This is how they can afford to sell a 52inch tv for £30.i wont insult your inteligence but you have people bidding for hours on one product each bid costs £1.How much are these sites making i ask.Is there a knack to it or is it bingo in a different format?

If bids are £1 each but each bid is a penny ... then 30 quid for a 52" plasma is bloody dear !

is it like these things they do on the radio sometimes where you text in a bid to a premium rate number and lowest unique bid wins?

sounds like it

except they bypass the phone number and you open an account fund it and buy bids

auctions go on for an indefinite length of time. even though you can see a countdown any bid placed in the last x minutes reopens the auction for another x minutes so you can't ninja bid at the last second. this is the trick and is how they make fortunes

i am wrong its an auction just like ebay

each bid goes up a penny at a time

so you buy 10 bids and bid each time by a penny

each time it cost you £1 so something going for £30 only brings in £3k for the site

do they need to post the £450 cash they are offering which is likely to see at £300+ which is by my reckoning £30,000 that is sick
