Title: Nottingham Dogs on SS Tonight
Post by: scotty2hatty on November 26, 2009, 04:06:43 PM
Heard Barry Neville had a tip???

I'll most likely back something in every race cos it's on TV and either lose/win a little. Prices stated are current best price I think.

7:40 - I ike T5 Uncle Ollie (3/1) in this. He should beat the other two fancied dogs to the corner and is too fast to be caught over 480m. Think I'll back the outsider T3 Salacres Gift too cos I'm not convinced it should be double figures, let alone 20/1.

8:00 - Jimmy Lollie is very fast, but is very short - plus T5 Ballylacey Boy (6/1) has beaten him before and thus is a very enjoyable price. I'd rather he was on Lollie's inside but at the prices I'll take the gamble.

8:15 - Kinda trappy but wil most likely back T5 Ring Ouzel (7/2) who I hope can lead the whole way.

8:35 - T3 Bower Surfer (4/1) has treated us well in the past and is on a 5-timer - lets hope he can be too strong for Swift Ninja in 6 who'll go off a short fav.

8:50 - Runemragged should probably win but is already well odds on and with a bit of trouble I'm happy to oppose with T4 Blonde Playboy 6/1 who should get first run.

9:10 - Horrible race for me to pick something. Was about to pick Eye Eye Pickle cos it might nip in front of Wise Thought and Farloe Lee but it might not so I've decided to back T6 Vigourous Willie @ 25/1, probably e/w.

9:25 - Midway Skipper is super short and I can't be bothered looking for an alternative. Anyone opposing Skipper?

9:45 - The feature race, the Betfred Eclipse Final. I backed Romeo Maldini before the opening round and I'm still happy with him - sole wide seed and runs on well. Head Iton Ellis flew round in its semi but has been given T3 tonight and can't win from there as far as I'm concerned. Jordansolutions and Eye onthe Storm are railers in 4 and 5, and are class acts but could struggle. Storm, favourite for the 2010 Derby, in particular has never been in the wide traps in its career and if it wins this tonight will be instantly shorter for Derby. Can't decide between Storm and T2 Fear Zafonic but if pushed would probably go for Zafonic as he has a more favourable draw. But gooooo Maldini.

P.S. Think T6 Tynwald Nero is a sweet bet @ 13/2 in the race before the cameras roll and will I'll definately be getting involved.

Fuck off Betfair. Starts fucking up for me from about 7 and can't get my bet on Uncle Ollie. Had to throw a random shitty 5er I had on Ladbrokes on it instead. Farce.

Nice one sir.

I've had Uncle Ollie and Eye Eye Pickle so far. Looking for FZ to win the Eclipse.

Jot down the name of Supreme Pace that just ran, clobbered at the start but looks a good one.

yeah true, you don't have the number that I've pm'd you and that you've rung me on in the past. I was only kiddin anyway Bazildon, I don't do sports betting anymore.

My joy and elation for it just comes from when you win these days.
