Title: ***DTD Monte Carlo £1,090 Deep-stack*** Post by: TheChipPrince on November 26, 2009, 04:17:06 PM Hi guys/girls, I ‘satted’ in to the DTD Monte Carlo £1,000 (+£90) event back in May and have spoken to Mr Nowab who has now transferred my name onto confirmed entrants ‘Dwayne Owen’. I would like to sell some action as this event is above what I would normally fork out for a comp with my own ‘£’. Of course if I fail to sell any or just say 10% I will be playing regardless.
Happy to sell up to 40% (ish) of my action. I will be selling at face value. E.g., if you buy a 10% share (£109) then you will receive 10% of any winnings. I do not have the live record to justify charging any sort of premium. Will take % chunks as they come, obv easier if its just in 5%/10% chunks but no probs if not. I have played the DTD £330 3 times without cashing, and have probably played there 10-12 times in total. I do not play live as much as I would like, the main reason being I ‘work’ on Saturdays as such for most of the year, and also until recently have lived in the sticks. :D I do play a lot online though, STT’s mainly now. It used to be mainly MTT’s (these were mainly on Crypto/Ipoker so no OPR etc), but since moving in the girlfriend playing time tends to be in 2/3 hour stints, 4/5 nights a week as opposed to full night sessions perhaps 3 nights a week. I’ve included some Sharkscope Info from my 3 most recent usernames over the last 18/24 months or so, if Rakeback is not a dirty word to you then it totals around $50k with rakeback. On the monthly graphs I have played a lot less games this month as I am in the process of buying a house. I have included my DTD/Blonde monthly profit graphs etc. I know a few of you personally, so it would be nice if I had at least 1 person to vouch for me if anyone has any doubts! :D I will also happily do/keep a tourney report for anyone who is interested. So: 5% = £54.50 10% = £109 etc Payments: Payments by bank transfer please if possible. Thanks, Dwayne/TheChipPrince Title: Re: ***DTD Monte Carlo £1,090 Deep-stack*** Post by: Matt50 on November 26, 2009, 04:31:06 PM 5% please mate

Sorry couldn’t bring any dosh home for you. Matt had 5% too, so sold 35% in total. Always seemed to be 20% under average chips through day 1, ended on 55,100 (think the average was 66k ish), was happy enough with that, the only confrontation I got into all day was George2Loose raised in early position, think it was the 400/800 level but not 100%, to about 2100, mid position player shoves for about 16k, I’m in the BB, look down at AA, dwell to try and get George involved, he folds. Flop 4J5, turn 8, river A, nice sweat. That puts me up to 45k ish, which again was just below ave at the time. Got moved table in the last level, onto Middy’s table, Matt Perrins and a couple of others I recognised but didn’t really ‘know’. Last hand on the night I find KK in the sb, Perrins raises to 2500 in early pos, Middy in mid re-pops to 7900, playing about 40k I make 31k, both insta fold and we end the night with 55,100.
Day 2 Horner gets moved to our table early, I manage to get up to around 90k winning about 5/6 pots with raises/ 3 bets, no showdowns. Get moved about 2 levels in to a new table where I didn’t recognise anyone, playing around 100 at this point. One hand of note I can remember, I have AQ on the button, guy in early pos raises to 12.5 @ 1.5/3, I flat. Not entirely sure why in retrospect, but hadn’t seen him play at all and was committing 30% of my stack with any raise. Don’t like it now but hey ho. Flop comes Q 7 5, he checks I lead for 21.4 leaving about 80/85 behind, he insta shoves over the top covering me. I didn’t like, probably thought for the longest of any decision in the comp. Probs seemed standard now, but did call and also turned over AQ, chop it up. Key hand, up to about 140, blinds @ 2k/4k, raise an unopened pot to 11.2 in the cut-off with AA, BB flats playing about 12k less than me. Flop 2 9 3, he checks, I bet 16.2, he makes it 35, I have no intention of folding, having seen him play, in it goes, he calls, flips 10’s. Turn blank, river a 10, he celebrates like he’s won the world. Very disappointing to go out like that having accumulated chips without more than 4/5 showdowns in a day and a half. Throw my last 12k in with 9c 10c, nothing flop, out in 52nd. Anyway, sorry again, and thanks for the buying a %.
