Title: Holdem Manager Software Post by: Matt.NFFC. on December 03, 2009, 03:28:54 PM So, after having my head buried in the sand for so long now and having read this months issue of PokerPlayer Magazine I can't help feeling that I really should be using this software to help me out a bit.
It's most probably been covered dozens of times by you guys already, so apologies for digging up old news but should I really be using this stuff? I get the impression that everyone is using this and have done for many many months. Is it really that advantageous or should I still let my cards and instincts rule? Have I been left behind? This would probably explain why I only have the occasional winning session. Do you guys not get lost in all the statistics and does it not turn the game into some kind of stats shootout? Thoughts please, before I decide that I will never be a winning player and lose interest. Title: Re: Holdem Manager Software Post by: AndrewT on December 03, 2009, 03:35:24 PM Start here:

;applause; Title: Re: Holdem Manager Software Post by: Matt.NFFC. on December 03, 2009, 04:30:49 PM Wow, just read through all of that thread and to be honest it's put me off. It sounds far too techy for me, far too many issues with getting it to run right etc.
Whatever happened to sitting down for a "nice game of cards" for enjoyment (and maybe to win a bit) I suppose I should'nt knock it till I've tried it but time is what I haven't got at the moment. Thanks for the link though. Title: Re: Holdem Manager Software Post by: titaniumbean on December 03, 2009, 05:03:20 PM Wow, just read through all of that thread and to be honest it's put me off. Thanks for the link though. Like anything it seems more complex than it is, when you know nothing about it. Give it a go and see what you can get out of it.
