Not yesterday really..didn't know what to make of the race, but Nicholls said he'd win in the RP this morning and on TML so I did have him in a little trixie with Synchronised and the horse I mentioned in the 3.15 for a few pennies

Sigh...wins everytime he completes at Wetherby...and therefore falls today.

I thought that trixies were pretty much the dictionary definition of mug's bets.

they are, they are ridic stupid bets as my last horse not coming in shows.

For a small stake it is a good bit of fun and it gives you an interest but it's still a mug's bet.

It really really pisses me off that Boldie uses this forum to advertise his tipping service yet won't say what he is tipping.

If you want to bang on about your commercial enterprise you should post the horses on here.

If you want to keep them secret, don't talk about them here please.

I also have to laugh a bit at the "commercial enterprise" thing TBH. Some people are staking me to place bets and surely I can then also put on here what I am going to bet on in advance of the race? That wouldn't provide any benefits to the stakers though, no?

It's not like I'm running a £1.50 a minute tipping line FFS...it's a blonde only thing..and to say I "advertise the service" is simply ridic IMO.

I agree with Camel, as I have said before. Boldie tilts me by a) having his own forum, and b) bragging only when he wins on this forum and permanently saying go to other forum etc etc. Let us see the lot or nothing. Your stakers know where to go so no need to keep saying go to forum etc

Camel; Not really, no. I don't follow your posts but I hope you do well and make a profit. As I do for everyone that bets. It's not like I'm taking money from you, I take it from the bookies so I don't see why you would be ticked off by me backing a winner or mentioning that we've had a winner. It doesn't piss me off when someone has a brag about money they've won, good for them...I hope it's as much as possible.

It's a private forum to keep people that staked me informed. Would you be happier if I just PM'ed everyone that staked me what the bets are or when to go to the forum?
The only reason I say "go to the forum" is because I don't post on it every day and I want those that staked me to know when something is up so they don't miss anything.

If the mods, who approved the staking request, want me not to post on that thread anymore and just do everything via PMs, I will...I have no problem with that.

But to say that I should post the lot is simply ridic. The bets I place with the stakers money are almost all on best odds guaranteed and the SP can therefore affect the price we get. Posting in advance what we have bet on could affect the price and we want to make as much profit as possible.

If you honestly think that posting your selections on here would affect the SP you either:

a) Have the biggest ego this side of Full Flush

or

b) Are completely delusional.


Use the pm function on this forum please, it will save alot of annoyance.

Did they also decide that you could lay them in-running on BF if you so wish which means that you are the only one who knows the outcome of your staker's bets ?

Have your seperate forum, fine... What I said was don't have a seperate forum to come over here and say, post now up on seperate forum. PM your stakers, or is that too hard? And when you win, PM your stakers with your celebrations, k thx.

Because there are quite a few people that want to put their own money on these horses. I don't see why I should tell people that aren't signed up anything really.

As long as Boldie keeps the posts to the staking thread I don't see the problem. That way those who have a problem with his staking can choose to keep off it & not get wound up.

I think the easiest thing to do it just keep it to the staking thread.

I enjoy everyones tips, Ralph's, Keith's, Boldie's, Typhoon and the legend that is Barry Mofo Neville but I can see why people might not want Boldie's stuff on random threads.

Surely if he keeps it the staking thread then you might not be happy he is doing it, but its out of sight and out of mind.

Yeah we did, we gave Boldie full and unquestionable control and he can do what he likes.
