Watford without Heguson. Looks like a defensive formation, Under 2.5 @ 2.02 looks value to me. Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: Scottish Dave on December 08, 2009, 02:14:21 PM Juve v Bayern Munich - Juve are undefeated at home in CL Group Stage, and Bayern have only won 1 game away and it was against Maccabi Haifa who haven't even scored a goal in the group yet! Juve cant afford to lose this or they are out, albiet a draw would do them but i can't see past a Juve win tonight.
Wolfsborg v Man Utd - Tough Game this, If Wolfsborg get a win in this game they will Qualify TOP of the group on the head to head with Man Utd, Man utd only need a draw to get Top spot, however i think Fergie's determination to constantly improve will only lead to man Utd taking no chances tonight and going for to Win big time. Man Utd to win this one. Marseille v Real Madrid - Real Madrid need a win to Get Top spot with Milan playing Bottom team Zurich, Marseille could still go through but they need Milan to lose which i cant see. I think they are resigned to Europa already. Real Pumped Marseille 3-0 in the first meeting and with Ronaldo back, plus Banzema, kaka etc, i cant see anything else but a Madrid win here. Zurich v Milan as above, Milan need a win here to make sure of qualification to Knockout stage, Zurich been battered at home so far this group stage, and only playing for pride in this one, pride can hurt sometimes, so im unsure about taking this one or not????? Plus i hate taking Italian teams away from home (Real 2 v 3 Milan game aside that is!) Might just leave it, ill decide later. I haven't even checked the prices of these teams yet, if they aint too hot i might knock one or two teams off the acca and just go with a Double or Treble. Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: Scottish Dave on December 08, 2009, 02:34:39 PM I haven't checked the teams yet for above games, but the prices are:
Juve @ 5/4 - about right, I'd possibly have said 1/1 at home tho sould more closer to the price Real @ 13/10 - About right Man Utd @ 13/5! - Am I missing something here? has anyone seen the team yet, cos i think this is Fking Huge price!(With a strong squad out that is??) What do Camel, Blatch etc all think about these prices, or am i way off here? Thinking of 3 Doubles, and a Treble! Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: gatso on December 08, 2009, 02:42:56 PM fergie showed in the last game that he doesn't really care if he tops the group or not and the price seems to reflect that. expecting a team of kids again
Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: scotty2hatty on December 08, 2009, 02:48:48 PM Man Utd @ 13/5! - Am I missing something here? has anyone seen the team yet, cos i think this is Fking Huge price!(With a strong squad out that is??) Yes. Man Utd have no defence - likely line up is going to involve Fletcher at RB and rumours of a centre half partnership of Carrick and Evra!!!! Berba, Giggs and Rooney all left at home too. Plus Wolfsburg need to win to guarantee qualification. I had a little on Wolfsburg HT/FT at 3/1 last night. Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: Scottish Dave on December 08, 2009, 02:51:07 PM Man Utd @ 13/5! - Am I missing something here? has anyone seen the team yet, cos i think this is Fking Huge price!(With a strong squad out that is??) I also really dont fancy Man Utd at all- they are playing Oliver gill-the chief execs son-who is an untried 19 year old centre half; gives a clue the type of team fergie will put out-makes me think wolfsburg @ 11/10 is good value-especially when they have a chance to go top Title: Re: midweek football betting Post by: Matt50 on December 08, 2009, 04:01:59 PM Reading v Crystal Palace - Away win @ 9/4 this please. in fact if you could always back palace it would make me very happy Nooooooooooooooooooooooo Leaving work in 1/2 hour to make my way to the game and now have the knowledge that super dave has picked Palace to win - is it even worth me going?
