Post by: AndrewT on December 09, 2009, 01:03:38 PM http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1234429/QPR-manager-Jim-Magilton-suspended-Akos-Buzsaky-headbutt-row.html
Quote Magilton, who was appointed at Loftus Road in June, is said to have torn into his players, starting with Damion Stewart and then turning on Buzsaky, who has been a target for his gaffer's criticism more than once this season. When Magilton asked the Hungarian if he thought he was being bullied, Buzsaky responded with a shrug of the shoulders and said 'whatever'. But Magilton reacted furiously to that, and allegedly butted the 27-year-old midfielder. He did not draw blood but it was serious enough, Sportsmail understands, for burly striker Patrick Agyemang to feel compelled to intervene and separate the two men. Witnesses say Agyemang then squared up to his manager and condemned him for what was an unprovoked act of violence. Magilton is then said to have asked him if he wanted the same treatment, and it was only when Agyemang said he would like to see him try that the Ulsterman backed off. Still in his kit, Buzsaky stormed out of the dressing room and, resisting calls from assistant manager John Gorman to return, remained by the pitch before moving to the warmth of the Watford kit man's room half an hour later. Magilton bet, got raised, then folded. Title: Re: QPR new manager? Post by: Scottish Dave on December 09, 2009, 01:14:03 PM What a fuckin idiot!

A bit off track of the topic, but it is not easy to get your son to support a 'lesser' team. All the kids at school support one of the big 4. I made it my mission to get my son to support Crystal Palace, if he changes his mind at some point that is up to him, but the best way to get them hooked is to take them to matches. I took him to his first game when he was just 4, and from 8 onwards he has been to most home games and a few away games (he is 11 now). We went to Reading last night, i told him to wrap up warm and he had a jumper, palace shirt and coat on. Just as the teams were coming out he took his coat off, he said he was getting warm, but i knew it was so he could watch the match in his palace shirt (made me so proud lol) and still hadnt put the coat on at the end of the match even though it was bloody freezing. On the way home he was telling me how much better it was to support palace because he gets to see them a lot, instead of his mate at school who has only been to Chelsea once. Trying to explain to him the money troubles the club is in, administration, how we are going to have to sell our best players in January was not quite so easy though - his simple reply - 'we will be all right as long as we get promoted then!' Cue all comments of me being a wicked parent for making my son support such a s**t team ;) Title: Re: QPR new manager? Walking round town I would say over 50% of kids who are wearing football shirts are wearing Darlo. Pretty incred when they are so shite. A fair proportion of Newcastle, Sunderland and Boro but virtually no Man Utd, Liverpool or Chelsea. Much more loyality to the local teams up here. Title: Re: QPR new manager? Despite the moaning the majority of us lower league supporters do, it is ultimately more rewarding supporting a smaller club. You get to go to the games, the club some what reflects where you come from. Also that one day you do win something, is something a big 4 fan could never experience. Title: Re: QPR new manager? New manager in charge I'd love to lay WBA @ 1.64 I've laid WBA at 1.63 - they are a bit inconsistent of late and QPR could well be up for it with the change in management. QPR are a better side than there latest results suggest. Title: Re: QPR new manager?
