Title: ridiculously slow internet connection Post by: Claw75 on December 13, 2009, 12:26:39 AM I'm currently online at my mum's using her O2 dongle and it's like going back to the dark ages - slower than any dial up connection I ever remember using and pretty sure these results can't be standard for a dongle (although I've never used one elsewhere). The O2 connection manager is claiming that the signal strength is 'excellent'. Is it likely that there are settings on the laptop or something else that might be affecting the speed (Mum says this is pretty much normal). Cheers.
