Eto'o is one of the 3 i put ahead of Ronaldo when i classed Ronaldo as 4th best in world, perhaps not just now, but defo over all

The team seems to be on overall ability other than how they've done this year otherwise gerrard never makes this team(and i think gerrards best player in the world when on top form)

I agree on Gerrard but as I said about about Torres Vs Drogba - between Jan 1st and the end of last season which is more or less 5 months, Gerrard and Torres were untouchable.

Before I post this let me state that I HATE Ronaldo. But I think he should be included.

Ronaldo scored 18 in 33 last season and he's scored 7 in 8 this season. Surely we're seeing the best wide man ever in one of his prime years?

The only reason it could possibly be considered to be an underachievement is because of his own ridiculously high standard the season before where he scored 31 in 34. He shouldn't be excluded because 2009 isn't quite as good though.

Yeah pretty criminal choice considering how good Ashley Cole has been in the last 15 months or so.

I think it looks ok for the last 12 months although I guess it is more weighted to the business end of last season rather than what we've seen so far this.

Agree that he is, cant stand him either, but he's been in excellent form. Chelsea's players of the season 2008-2009 and rightly so. No other left back out there is turning up week after week like he is.

the teams spot on for me, but terry only gets in because Rio,s injury's this season,think terry was below his best for much of the 2008/09 season.

Apologies, but i really can't see where the love for Cole comes from, he did have a nice game against Arsenal 3 weeks ago, but apart from that, think he is piss poor. There is another player at your club goes by that same surname who i think is one of the greatest players in Europe, Joe cole is fuckin amazing!

as for Casillas, yes i do understand the love for him, don't think there is a better keeper on the planet as good as him, the guy just stops everything at times.

But Cole is generally considered to have been the best left-back in world football along with Evra over the last 4/5 years,Cole over a longer timeframe than that on his own so you cannot argue that he is "piss poor" because the fact is any club apart from United would love to have him.

Joe has had a frustrating 18 months and he is too hard on himself for his own good,he wants to be the same player he was straight away,when in reality it is going to take him maybe 3-4 months to get fully back to anything close to the levels he reached before the injuries.

Of course having a World Cup around the corner is just adding to the weight he is putting on himself.

Hmmmm....Tbh I thought he'd really lost his way when he joined yoos lot, for the best part of a whole season he didn't look right. but he's come back much better as a player. For one thing he's a better defender now.

I hope Joe Cole is firing on all cylinders come the WC. He adds something to the side that no one else does.

Casillas is top dog for me tbh. A class above every other keeper out there cept maybe Buffon. What England would give for one of those two.
