decided to go to australia for a month minimum tommorow. My mate and staker zak is a doctor in freemantle perth which is where i will be provisionally based. I imagine there will be some good poker tales and tales of sarging gone wrong. Ill keep up to date on here with pics and tales.

The snow is abs piling down up here. Was gonna get a train about 2.40pm arriving in london st pancras at 4.45pm then to heathrow for a 9.15pm flight.
Does anyone know if heathrow have a shop to buy a new laptop charger? really excited atm not relishing the flight being a smoker ill just try and sleep the best i can.

Freemantle is an awesome place Trigg have fun, if you get further north could you have a look for half my brain I think I left it on Mullaloo beach a few year back, try and get up to Yanchep Creek as well good golf course up there if you can play a wedge over a kangaroo and emu.   But FFS the millions is in Melbourne so get over there soon a lot more going on then Perth.  Have fun and just smoke on the flight what are they going to do - throw you off?

yo. Arrived safe in fremantle, had a day on the beach yesterday, learning how to kite surf. Gone and got dongle today, and just about to go out for beer (6.18pm local) its been 42 degrees today and im slightly burnt. Bout a big daft hat, flip flops a beach towel and some sunglasses. Will do proper report (including pics) when i get back in.

so sweet its like 3pm sunny as fuck and im sipping tooeys.


So day 1 in aus 4th jan

i awoke at 9am when zak came in from work, he told me to get changed, i was like wtf, jetlagged and knackered but agreed.
We went down to a little beach and he showed me this huge kite and board which cost him 3k aus. It was kite surfing apparatus.
When we got to the beach he said the wind was tez and as he's 6 foot 8 and about 18 stone it would take a tornado to make him move imo.
He finally got in the water on his board and from what i could see was pretty dogshit at kite surfing, although everyone has to learn i suppose.
It got to 1pm and i was twiddling thumbs, burning to fuck even tho id lathered myself in factor 30. I was ready to gtfo but zak agreed to meet his swedish mates.
I went for a sleep in his car with the AC on and used about £40 worth of petrol. He finally arrived back at the car at like 7pm (WTF!) and i was intorduced to two swedish guys both named Erik, an english guy called mark, and a german called Jan.


We arrived at Matts House (a mutual friend of mark and the eriks) for a proposed "beer". Once we arrived it was evident that matt was divorced with kids and a bit of a play on player. He had a cinema room with lazyboys in (like our vegas house) and a huuuuuuuuge 72" TV with the best surround sound id ever seen. Matt demonstrated this by playing us his favourite shoot out scene from the film heat with pacino. He started cooking us up some food, steak, sausages chips etc... then showed us his impressiv collection of own brewed liquor which mimicked household names. He made his own jaeger which was 60%, his own malibu, vodka, sambuca.

He then got some huge rifles out like illegal as fk stuff with silencers and laser beams etc..
Matt was one of those guys who had everything u mentioned. In the next hour or so he showed us; fireworks as big as your head, hand grenades, clay pidgeon machine with pigeons, the lot. His hospitality was brilliant, but started getting a bit creepy. I think he just wanted a bit of company. Zak and i decided to head off about midnight for some kip as he wasnt working the next day.


edit-- have took loads of snaps on zak's camera and will bang them on here when he gets back from work.

Friday 8th jan pm

we were planning on having a quiet one on friday and a big one on the saturday but this all changed when zaks rota changed to 3pm-11pm saturday so we went out friday.

we arrived at the backpackers hostel where zaki lived for a bit and met the kite surfers and a few tidy birds, a few bottles of tooheys extra dry and then off to a bar called newport which is where a lot of the backpackers go. they had a rock band playing versions of some classics, like green day, ac/dc and local heros wolfmother.

In perth wages are high, like a barman will  get $22 per hour, therefore naturally drinks, food etc. seems a rip off but its all relative. Ive tried not to work out the uk price as it will tilt me, but paid $17 aus for a single vodka redbull (well more than one) and $13 for a smirnoff ice. i had a good time in newport and on the way to a club we saw a street band playing the instumental to mr.bigstuff. The more discerning of you will also know that its the same tune to NWA express yourself. Being abs bladdered i decided it would be a good idea to rap the song. Alas i could only remember the first verse and had to freestyle the other 2, which was a bit scary.

We went to a club called chink, where some old lass started undressing me late on 2am ish and got herself thrown out. My beer goggles were placed firmly on my head and i decided to have a sneaky glance round. I saw not one of the lads so decided to follow this broad out, into a cab and back to hers. Unbeknown to me, everyoone saw me sneaking off and ive been getting banter all day, which is fine.

not been out in the sun too much after getting pretty burnt on a few occasions, but ill venture out in it soon.

Played a few small sessions, playing real good atm, lots of deep finishes and im reading peoples hands about the best i ever had.

Zak and my mutual friends are appearing fromt he uk on the 18th and were gonna fly to bali, and then do a roadtrip were gonna plan out soon. On the 17th im going to see Al green in perth, and on the 29th going to a festival where dizzee, lily, kasabian and muse are among the artists, oh and groove armada. Loving life out here and might not be back for a while. Got a mate in bankok i must visit ;) ill leave u with pics. love x
