The min raise had me totally confused here. Sometimes people do this to see if your CB is BS but sometimes they actually have it. I hadn't been paying too much attention so i have no reads on this player. I hate the play but i didn't have a clue how to proceed.

What is his range and what should i do?

With no reads i'd let it go, he's got position on you.

Deffo fold, you aren't ahead here very often.

Would probably cbet less as well, about 120 is fine here or even consider checking behind as we deffo can't call a raise but have a medium strength hand.

Note: When James Keys bets, min raise him.

Note: When George min raises Keys, 3 bet him......

Note: When Matt 3 bets when I min bet Keys- fold. Cos he knows that I know that he is bluffing therefore he knows this so will have the nuts.

Note: When George min raises Keys just fold. Cus Keys knows that George is going to min raise him and that I'm going to 3 bet the chuckling one so will have the nuts and once again pwn the entire world.

Keys plot is finally unveiled. Sneaky fucking Russian!!!!!!

Back to the hand.....

One possibility is that he's got a flush draw. I've used the min raise here before because oppo will often pass.

If he just does a flat call then chances are he's really concerned about my hand so gives me a free river if I've missed the turn. The river has effectively cost 160 whereas his second barrel would've been more expensive and also turned my hand face up if I called.

If I hit it's well disguised because oppo thought I had a hand. If I miss I look strong so have a chance of bluffing.

Min raise is really difficult to read but when you're oop at this early stage it's probably best just to fold and move on to the next hand.

FYP

I think Rooks tried to defeat James Keys using an Ace and another Ace once. Wonder how that worked out.
