Happy to get it in against which hand exactly? A bluff? With a player to act behind who could of been planning a check/raise himself.

It's Josh Arieh to act before us? Just isnt included in HH, I guess he folds. pretty tough spot though, guess it's a get it in hope for no spade/ hope for a spade.

if we get it in we are a favourite vs TT (Ts) we can be marginally behind to AsQ or AsK  and abs crushed by AA, KK QQ with a spade. vs a set we have spade outs and the other jacks. Just cant see how we can get it in good here.

Yes Josh arieh was to act and he folded so villain, raised by cbet knowing arieh had to act also.

so the question is,, is  he bluffing? is it a good spot to rep a hand? can we jam or should we jam if we think he is bluffing?

This is the real question and this is why it is so tough when you get moved tables and have no reads, this usually happens to me and I give players credit for moves which in fact they would never make. End up levelling myself sticking it in their eye and getting my pants pulled down.

Do you have any info on villain? OPR him? Ever played before? Does he shag old ladies?

hate spots like these where good players can just own you in pos. maybe check in the first place??? as played i fold but i do sigh at the idea of bet/folding. trouble is when we get it in we're def crushed unless he is f bad.

His raise is very strong, and we don't really have any idea what he has. The problem I have here is we're never going to get it in way ahead. We'll usually be against:

overcards+fd - we're flipping
As9/4/5x - we're flipping
AsXx - we're 56%
set - we're 2:1 dog
flush - gg
overpair w/ fd - we're crushed
overpair w/o fd - we're 42%
tp w/o fd - we crush
bluff - we crush, but he won't call a shove

The problem of course is what we're most likely to be against given the action. It's pretty much never the last 2 unless you want to level yourself into thinking he's making a play. And as for the rest of them we're only winning if he has the bare As. And he's pretty much pot comitted himself with any of the half decent ones so we can't shove him off it.

I do a fold.

i think we shud fold cos the way the villian put his chips into the pot i think his most likely holding is 44 :P

Board: 9s 4s 5s
Dead:

   equity    win    tie          pots won    pots tied
Hand 0:    39.299%     38.62%    00.68%             17971          315.00   { JcJs }
Hand 1:    60.701%     60.02%    00.68%             27929          315.00   { QQ+, JcJd, JcJh, JdJh, TT, 9c9d, 9c9h, 9d9h, 5c5d, 5c5h, 5d5h, 4c4d, 4c4h, 4d4h, AsKs, AsQs, KsQs, QsTs, Ts9s, AcKs, AdKs, AhKs, AsKc, AsKd, AsKh, AsQc, AsQd, AsQh }

when u get stacks in u have 39.3% equity in a 26,417 pot = 10,381 cev + 1934 remaining stack, 12,315 after the hand
when u fold you have 12,485 after the hand

assuming hes never folding + has the range i gave him, folding is best

I'm a bit disappointed that this thread has died, I think it's one of the sicker spots I've seen and was interested in some more of the  experienced MTT specialist's opinions.

It's one of those spots that i'm sure i've just got it in in the past, but as discussed, it looks like more of a fold after thinking about it for a while.

It's only close to a fold in $1k's

It's hard to discuss as the table dynamic is so key in HSMTT
