No he can't score sick 45 yards free kicks

i trying to point out how good the lad is at getting forward and getting into the box and when he does get the ball he knows where the back of the net is

look how good goal 3 and 4 5 are a forward would be proud of them never mind a LB

I voted for Evra, i think it is pretty close between him and Cole as best LB currently playing in England. I will be honest I haven't seen the majority of the list playing week in, week out so it is hard to draw any real conclusion personally.

I think it's pretty close between Evra and Cole. I think on his day Cole is probably better but Evra is more consistent week in week out

rofl at Evra being the same as Cole. Clearly excellent but not quite as good as Cole.

I don't know how anyone who watched Cole this season or last can say he's not consistent week in week out.

Shocking but had to vote for Cole on that list, right now, today.

Two years ago would have been Zambrotta by a mile at either FB position.

It's Cole

Evra when Man U won the Champions League but he hasn't been as good since.

Thats not the job of a decent left back though.

Based on purely defensive ability Cole would be close to the bottom of that list for me.

Very few of that list are renowned "defenders" though.

Agreed, id probably say Zambrotta is the best 'defender' out of that list.
