Title: football tuesday 19th
Post by: a.sparrow on January 19, 2010, 01:38:56 PM
Hi guys,  fair bit of football today, does anyone have any picks?

I've got for a 6timer containing:

Leeds, Charlton, Huddersfield, Notts County, Rotherham and Swindon.

All home 'bankers' I think apart from Swindon who are on a storming run and away to a team who hasn't won in 11 or 12 games.  The only one im slighlty concerned about at the moment is leeds playing is the st jonston paint trophy may not be that up for it and waiting to face spurs so the players may have their eyes on that fixture and not put the effort in today?

RE: Leeds, i really think they need a win going into the Spurs game on Saturday, they have been in a slump and need to get their confidence back with a win, and preferably a Clean Sheet too!

That aside ive not had a look at fixtures tonight yet.

1/ Blackpool - Win    @ 10/11
2/ Rochdale - Win    @ 7/5
3/ Swindon - Win    @ 4/5
4/ Liverpool v Spurs - Draw    @ 9/4

£4 on
£107 back

Gonna stick a wee correct score double on with Tevez and a Celtic player when i see the celtic team.

EDIT:

Short up front so Samaras and Fortune are cert's to start, so ive went for:

Tevez @ 5/1
Fortune @ 9/2

£2 double
£66 Back

Good result for Wednesday tonight. 2 wins in 2 for Irvine. With Peterborough and Scunny to come it'd be nice to go on a bit of a run.
