can somebody clarify what can be said and what cannot in regards to your hole cards.

Recently after 3 limpers at the latter stages of a tournie i re raise all in with ace king , happy to take down whats in the pot i tell them i have pocket kings .Everyone passes ,i collect my chips and proceed to muck my cards. As i do they hit the dealers hand and flip over for all to see.

The button was irate and said i am not allowed to influence others verbally as he too folded ace king. Another person agreed and others disagreed.One guy said you can say what you want as long as you dont declare your actual hand. The supervisor was called over and said speech play was allowed but couldnt give any sort of explanation( in fairness he was covering the poker room managers day off.)

Anybody know whats what . I normally play in Stanleys and sometimes Grosvenors which have differing rules.

No one can give you a 100% answer, because of the differing rules you mention.  Establish what the rules are with the cardroom manager wherever you play.  Not only can they vary from casino to casino, they can vary from month to month, and even from shift to shift.

If a manager says that your not allow to say anything about ur cards. Ask for the rules and I bet you they will not be able to produce a set of rules which states what he says

Lying about having AK himself.

or

Folding AK

If it was my tourny I would get someone to tie him to a post in the car park, then give all of the remaining players the lower denom chips to sling at him. First head shot gets an extra 5k chip.
