Title: Ticket Touts
Post by: DaveShoelace on February 19, 2010, 01:18:05 PM
I would normally spit on the buggers, but there is a show we really want to see that has sold out (Sean Lock doing stand up in Kings Lynn, where my missus is from) - is ebay the only place I could find some tickets online or do other places do them too?

There's a couple of sites that do this sort of thing now, http://www.seetickets.com/see/index.asp? springs to mind, but there are others I'm sure.

Play ebay right and that will probably be your cheapest option.

I love the ticket tout thing, its awesome, means you can nearly always get to tickets to anything.

i havent got a problem with touts, they are a dream for me as im way to lazy to get tickets until the day of the event. Like cheltenham this year, w just going down and buying from touts, pay £10-£15 lazy juice and bobs your uncle, simples.

Get on the reserve list at the Corn Exchange - they get loads of returned tickets per gig in the weeks before.

Get a local to keep and eye on the Classified section of the Lynn News on a toosday and Friday.

Free ads http://www.freeads.co.uk/ the locals love that yellow paper.

Aside from that Ebay FTW

I like this for Cheltemham, if the weather is shit stay at home and save your money.

I need tickets for the Johnstone Paints trophy final, not many about yet though
