Gibraltar – 24th February 2010 – partypoker is delighted to announce that they have agreed a sponsorship deal with top European professional Dragan Galic. Dragan is currently rated as the number one player in Europe by pokerineurope and was recently invited to play in the Team Party heat as a special guest at the PartyPoker Premier League IV at the M Resort in Las Vegas. Though he didn’t make it through the play-off stages, PartyPoker were suitably impressed to sign him to their ranks. He joins Mike Sexton, Tony G, Kara Scott, Ian Frazer, Felipe ‘Mojave’ Ramos, Bodo Sbrzesny and Remy Biechel in Team Party. Galic is a 35-year-old Croatian/German from Schneverdingen, near Hamburg and has over $900,000 in live tournament winnings and a great online record. He recently won the CASINOS AUSTRIA POKER TOUR - OVERALL RANKING (CAPT) and finished fifth in the EPT San Remo Main Event, making history when he maintained the chip lead from day one through to day four. He is a big contender for the European Player of the Year title and a member of PartyPoker VIP club. He was a service engineer for BMW before hanging up his overalls to become a professional poker player in 2006. He set the basis for his Poker Career by reaching 14 times (Sundays) in a row the Final Table at local tournaments in Hamburg.
