I often have them for breakfast. Cant compare them to any other donut (except for Bavarian Creme Dunkin Donuts but you don't get Dunkin Donuts here anymore - BOO)

Caramel dreamcake, chocolate custard filled and a medium latte ... £3.95 well spent imo.

I am not doubting they are nice
But I think its redic expensive for what they are.

2 donuts cost the samme as one sandwich from boots which is a lot better

I saw one guy buy 3 trays of donuts

Spending 30-50 £ on donuts is redic

Dunkin donuts were the nuts, anyone know why we don't get them here anymore? Have never tried Krispy Kreme, are they as good as Dunkin?

I bought 2 boxes of them in Manchester a while back for a couple of women I know up here that are totally addicted to them, annoying taking them to Glasgow on the train & not eating them. The girls investigated opening the franchise in Glasgow - £250,000 investment before they'll talk to you - 5 balls and the bonus ball & I'd take it on - the amount of money flowing over the counter there is immense. They must put addictive drugs in the donuts - which are incred.

One's over-priced for people who follow what people tell them they should like more than what they actually do like?

From a quality point of view I think the main difference you get is how fresh a doughnut is between one place and another.

Krispy Kreme's (almost) USP is the variety - I'm not paying that much for a simple doughnut or just something like a chocolate doughnut - but it's worth it for some of their harder to find flavours

Equally fresh are they not?

I wasn't saying Krispy Kreme normal flavours weren't as fresh or tasted worse - just if you can get that for cheaper, why would you pay more?

The minute I seen there were none in Scotland and that my nearest one was in Manchester I went straight to their site to look into franchises but it says there are none available in the UK at present.  :(
I would have thought though that Scotland, particularly Glasgow, would have been one of the first places in the UK that you would want to open a donut shop.

krispy kreme is a shop that sells donuts

To be honest, it's a bit like you saying a sandwich is better than a donut. They're like totally different types of food, why would you ever compare the two?

Can't stand normal donuts but the wife bought back a box of 12 from the Bull Ring and I polished off 4 of them.
You can't compare them to supermarket donuts.

lol you are comparing them! You're voicing your opinion on which you'd prefer over the other.

A sandwich is considered somewhat a meal (lunch, etc). A doughnut is simply a luxury snack/dessert. Two are uncomparable for the most part.

Lol i can't believe i'm having a debate about donuts and sandwiches on here. Is this borderline sad? Possibly!

I'd say Dunkin's were more solid and stodegy (perfect) whereas Krispy Kreme's are 'airer'. Dunkins were better IMO, but Krispy is the best alternative.
