Title: Did a flat call and lost my monies. $3/$6 nlh Post by: Mitch on March 16, 2010, 05:02:54 PM Ok im pretty sure i sholuld just be passing this when i get jammed on by the BB.... Obv im only getting the right price if he has 2 pair or is running some kind of move which is v.unlikely in this spot IMO with this player. Pretty much a set or flush here. Bubbling a EPT steps and couple of S&G's had me in gamble mode
Just interested how people play this once i have flatted pre and got into this spot in a 4 way pot once the flop after original raiser leads... Title: Re: Did a flat call and lost my monies. $3/$6 nlh Post by: Mitch on March 16, 2010, 05:58:21 PM Any reason why you took this line pre Mitch? Just trying to induce a squeeze really, although tbh i wasnt really concentrating on the game as much as i should have been (one of the TV on, browsing FB, on the phone kinda sessions) and i thought this hand had came up on another table which was far more active. This table was a bit more passive and was more likely to pick up more flat callers once i had called from early position rather than a squeeze, so ideally i wouldnt have flatted here. Title: Re: Did a flat call and lost my monies. $3/$6 nlh Post by: Mitch on March 16, 2010, 06:07:11 PM Cawl and hit a club? I dont run like that anymore.....ah the good old days ;sark; Flat the flop. Then, depending what happens, you may end up folding or shoving depending on your read. As played, guess you gotta call. Ok, i flat and then BB makes it ~$250. What you doing then if A) original raiser shoves B) he passes Title: Re: Did a flat call and lost my monies. $3/$6 nlh Post by: AlexMartin on March 16, 2010, 07:42:52 PM unless stacks were a hell of alot deeper i am never folding this hand on flop its 4way to the flop in a single raised pot. If someone else wants to play for stacks here we will usually be up against a made flush or a set/ very rarely some KcX hand. We have the nfd blocked. mitch, play 6max m8, your game will be more suited imo. as played i gues u have to get it in, but personally i think raising will let him play his entire range close to perfectly unless u have some maniacal image. You are 100x more suited to 6 max than gay full ring

You don't get as many fish as you get at 5/10 or 50/1 1/2. Just a load of cash sharks. Anyone who plays cash confirm/deny this?

I have not heard this but have seen many cases on PTR where people are winners at 5/10 but losers at 2/4. Yeah not too many people making too many mistakes, im just being lazy because i get on with the software on stars. Not using HUD either which is obv important at those levels. Think im gonna give 6max a go for a bit or give a few other sites a blast.
