Cant have AhTh cos Ah is on the board
Cant have AsTs cos we have the As
Cant have AdTd because he surely bets the turn or raises the flop
Cant have AcTc cos the Tc is on the board.

Hence he cant have ATs. And we can assume he folds ATos pre. Therefore we lose to boats and quads.

Stop assuming your playing a 1/2 decent player ;)

I just assume we are playing a standard mtt player who's range preflop is narrow and polarised and who's postflop abilites are barely existent :)

If you think his post flop skills are terrible, then why do you think he has managed to pull off a bluff that makes his hand look very much like a full house?

I call here as I can't put hands down, but I am pretty sure I will behind more often than in front and it is a pot odds thing.

99% of poker players play abc on the river (c) Dubai on numerous occasions :)

I think it's a call.

His line just makes no sense for any of the hands that beat us except mayyyyybbbeeee A7s. Donks can have stuff like 89s and just random stuff here a decent amount.

Really?

Surely the average online donk bluffs more than ~2.3x of our river bet.

His virtual min raise here has to be A4 soooooooted minimum???

I would be amazed if we are winning here 15% of the time.

oh come on what can he seriously have that we beat?  The silly raise on the river basically says oh der nutzz.

The fact he has checked behind on the turn when the board has paired up, surely says he has filled up or quaded up?

Remember this is ya average online donk

LOL.

I misread this hand.

I thought he just whammed in 2k and put us all in on the river.

Sigh, I still call but pretty much the same as Dubai's reasoning...and I think he has AQ/AJ or something random we beat enough of the time for it to be an okay call...

How?

AQ dd or AJ dd probably raises flop and probably doesnt check back turn when we check to him.

All other AQ or AJ surely folds on flop?

Well it depends if we assume if he's a good player or not. Most bad players are more than capable of calling with 2 overs.

Having OPR'd him I'd be more inclined to fold :)

Ya with no reads/info etc etc he's just played the hand so weird that this could be some poor bluff (or a good one if people really lay down AK here so easy) or a weirdo raise for value with an Ax float.

I was with Blatch here. I really felt like the ace on the river would be a really bad card to rep/bluff/bet for value. I tanked and tanked wanted to do a fold but pressed call and got shown a 7 with another 7 to match the 7 on board and the other two fours to make a FULL HOUSE which apparantly beats two pair, king kicker.

FWIW I open shoved 95 spades next hand out of frustration and the big blind found AK. Somehow A high won.

villain is an ok reg no? unless its a diff metfan

your line is that of AK/AQ/air so much that can't see him ever raising Ax for value and he should never have A7 or A4 pre so i'd i'd expect to see AA, ATdd, TT, 77, 44 most the time and some air a very small % of the time.
