Post by: treefella on March 26, 2010, 01:48:02 PM Feel i may have made a bad call here when deep in ftp33k garent ko tourney last night. $7600 up top Blinds 2500/5k with 600 ante.. 50 left im in 30th with 81k so not great shape. hijack sat with 84k opens for 20k. Cutoff shoves for 118k. im in sb with Ad Qc. Have no real reads on players as i havnt been at the table long enough. My view was that i should probably make the call as the pot would put me in top 4 spot if my hand won.? Title: Re: AQ bad call ? I think in this specific comp i do prob fold vs unknows, and wait for a better spot / chance to shove first.
The fact the HJ opens to full 4x means he is prob bad and therefore may raise fold.. which means its a good spot IF were flipping alot of the time vs the cutoff. Is that range abit too wide? I assume it's pretty standard. Guessing opening raiser can/will only call with JJ+ AK.
