I'm not surprised considering what you usually watch ;) Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: bobby1 on March 31, 2010, 09:47:23 PM How anyone can bet serious money on football these days is beyond me.
Cesc Fabregas just kicked a defender in an attempt to shoot, the ref gave a penalty and sent off the guy that got kicked. crazy sport. Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: mondatoo on March 31, 2010, 09:49:15 PM It looked a pen to me,Arsenal will win in Nou Camp what with me having barca in the sweep, lol.Great game of football tonigh wp both.
Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: Horneris on March 31, 2010, 09:52:59 PM Incred game, really enjoyed it.
Barcelona are so incred but Theo changed the game and showed his electric pace against one of the best left backs in the world. Pretty sure Barca will win 2 or 3 nil in the home game but you never know. Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: nirvana on March 31, 2010, 09:53:07 PM A lot of heart from Arsenal there. I hope we sell Arshavin in the summer, was delighted when he went off Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: maldini32 on March 31, 2010, 09:54:20 PM i backed barca to win, fairly big for me. I then backed the draw just before arsenal equalised and then after the pen backed arsenal to leave me with a loss of 20 quid.
Barca should have been 5 up before arsenal scored. Ah well im happy with the 20 quid loss. Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: maldini32 on March 31, 2010, 09:54:43 PM Incred game, really enjoyed it. Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: stribling on March 31, 2010, 10:01:55 PM Brilliant, Absolutely fucking brilliant! You lump on Barca, your a bit worried first half, 23 seconds 2nd half... waheyy 1-0 .. to make it better they only go and score a 2nd!!!!!!! Barcelona 2-0 up... solid!
BRILLIANT...... theo bloody Walcott, Theo Walcott!! Are you having a laugh... you? you ruin my life! When has that man ever changed a game! GIVE ME A BREAKKK!!!!! SERIOUSSSSSLY!! Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: Maxriddles on March 31, 2010, 10:42:32 PM Definite pen. +1 Pretty cute from Puyol but didn't get away with it this time. Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: Graham C on March 31, 2010, 11:39:07 PM Just back, what a match!!!
Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: Josedinho on April 01, 2010, 12:06:44 AM Great game. Argued for 20mins with my house mate over whether it was a pen or not. I was slightly on the wind up arguing it was a pen but imho it could go either way. If it's my teams player trying to shoot it's a stone wall pen as the defender has put his leg infront of my players and stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity. If it's my teams player defending he's done nothing but be kicked and it's never a pen and the ref is a cheat, needs glasses and is called rude names.

Lightweight I'm afraid. But good to see he has so many fans, hope yr all right and someone comes along with a big offer. Skill, commitment and team ethic >> Skillz - ask Guardiola who has a whole team playing near perfect football. He might just be at the wrong club to give 2 & 3 so move on imo Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: Maxriddles on April 01, 2010, 06:50:36 PM Single on Liverpool tonight.

Title: Re: Midweek footy Post by: bobby1 on April 02, 2010, 08:42:28 PM If any other example of why it is madness to have decent money on football is needed take a look at what went on on the first 30 odd mins of the Tranmere v Norwich game.
The team that are down to ten men and losing 3-0 have been the best team by a mile, the other team have scored 2 pens and been allowed a goal that was clear handball by a ref and lino that just guessed. It is the most unreal half of football I have ever seen. I am actual sat here laughing at how ridic the game has been, probs wouldn't have a sense of humour about it if we weren't 11 clear at the top.
