Title: Aggro Button Raise
Post by: Autobetkev on April 02, 2010, 05:08:54 AM
£10 rebuy, 8 handed, top 5 paid. Blinds 1500/3000/400.

Folded to button (very aggresive player, especially in position), who raises to 10.5k (out of a stack of 200k), I look down at  2h 2d, I'm playing the shortstack with 18k and shove, he obv. calls and flips  Tc Td, I spike a 2 and get criticized for shoving.

My one and only question : Can anybody, seriously, find a fold in this position? Personally, I think it a shove 100% of the time!

Not saying I always would but yes I can find a fold here.

You have zero fold equity and are racing at best.

I prefer to fold here and open shove the next 3 unopened pots to pick up 23k with back up of a bit of FE.

If I had a few more chips I would shove it because I may get 33, 44, 55 to fold as well as some random racing hands. Once you lose your FE you have to tighten up.

How did you get this low in the first place Kev? Just run in to something?
