Tough to take the libdems seriously.

They perpetually whinge about first past the post being unfair and undemocratic, quoting lofty ideals and words like amoral.
I'd have a bit more time for them if I didn't get libdem campaign literature through my door saying that they are the only party who can beat Labour in my constituency and a vote for anyone else is wasted.

Really not sure where my vote will be going, probably to the party I dislike the least rather than like the most. Not sure I trust any of them to run the country.

Can't see the Conservatives losing though, all they need to do is make sure they don't do anything massively stupid before election day and keep saying how rubbish Labour are. Not sure they'll manage the not doing something massively stupid part.

I am kind of looking forward to tormenting some of those canvassing in the run up to the election though, especially the SNP.  

If I'm in the HoP and I have one shovel and one chance to hit someone in the face before I'm wrestled to the ground and shipped off to the mental home, it's going to be hard not to choose Sarah Teather...

Easy for Lib Dems to get support. I'm amazed they don't do even better. They can cite whatever populist polices they like, they have as much chance of governing as the Sun newspaper party so pretty much everything is mooot.

Last week when the polls turned against the Tories and all the talk was of a hung parliament I lumped on the Tories getting between 375-399 seats at 9.2 and 400 or over at 13.5 on Betfair.

Trust me - the Tories will romp home - people are just sick of Labour and are willing to give anyone else a chance.

Just tried again,ticketmaster.co.uk, Newc Prem Darts, 1 ticket any price any seat and got ticket for £23.55 I've gone thru to the bit where you pay ? People seem to be missing the point about Cameron/Osborne. Pair of wankers maybe, but if they don't perform then they WILL be removed.

Brown has been on a scorched earth policy since he bottled an early election after his non contested leadership campaign.

The Tories screwed the country over oil. Labour screwed the country over gold.

Nobody else has a chance.

In the good times the parties here don't save anything and in the bad times we struggle. We share a huge resource with Norway and they have a $400 billion fund for the future because they put a levy on oil to start with. We are screwed for many generations.

The war screwed us. The Tories haste set us further back and Brown selling gold cheap made things worse.

Politicians are only in it for the cash they can make on the side and afterwards.

Get rid of them all.

Ken Clarke will be pulling the strings in the economic department; and his record is excellent having already taken Britain out of recession in the early 90's. He is clearly the steady hand we need to rectify Labour's dogshit attempt at government.

Mandelson gets me the worst. He's been kicked out of government for corruption, TWICE, and yet he's back there, again. And he's so preachy and patronising. It's like everyone else is too stupid to understand anything. That's a general complaint about a lot of politicians, but labour cabinet MPs seem to suffer from it the worst.

Still not 100% sure where my vote is going, it won't be Labour and it will a cold day in Hell before I would even consider voting SNP.

I was pretty sure it was going to Liberal Democrats until I saw the VAT on new homes policy, absolutely stark raving mad IMO, how can you trust a party to run the country if they think this is a good idea for the UK economy?

I find my views and interests are best represented by the Conservatives but in my constituency this is pretty close to a wasted vote. To have any hope of the Labour candidate failing to hold my constituency I would have to vote Lib Dem or SNP. I would spoil my paper rather than vote SNP so looks like I'd be best to vote Lib Dem as they will only be involved in governing the nation if doing a deal with Labour or Tories and it's safe to assume neither would let their VAT on new build homes get through.
