Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: Cf on April 19, 2010, 05:33:57 PM Prob a sigh fold. He could have the flush draw I guess but meh whatever, let him have it.
Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: mondatoo on April 19, 2010, 05:44:12 PM The fact he makes this ridic overbet means he's not likely to be v good
Edited my post because it was a bit ambigous when I read it back plus cos said he's not folding Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: GreekStein on April 19, 2010, 05:49:23 PM Not folding to this spanner.
Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: Rupert on April 19, 2010, 07:06:26 PM don't think it's even a close fold

Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: Rupert on April 20, 2010, 03:38:47 PM imo. we are repping a strong range.
Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: AlexMartin on April 20, 2010, 03:46:20 PM imo. we are repping a strong range. and someone that donkbet calls on the flop in a 3b pot understands what a range is? Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: MC on April 20, 2010, 05:38:15 PM Would it be a different decision if it was a rainbow board?
Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: AlexMartin on April 20, 2010, 05:41:18 PM Would it be a different decision if it was a rainbow board? yes, even idiots dont peel a 3b light, donk/c the flop then turn a made hand into a bluff on the turn. Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: MC on April 20, 2010, 05:51:50 PM Would it be a different decision if it was a rainbow board? yes, even idiots dont peel a 3b light, donk/c the flop then turn a made hand into a bluff on the turn. Okie dokie, I felt like I had to call largely because of the flush draw... Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: Rupert on April 20, 2010, 06:26:14 PM id say PPs mroe likely than flush draws but Jx most likely of all!

In these games I'm not sure, ridiculous as it seems. He's got it most of the time here I think. Also I don't think he needs to know what a range is to be aware that our range is strong here. He may well only 3-bet QQ+ himself, so a lot of the time he doesn't expect us to be folding. Very villain dependent of course, but I think I probably let this go a good chunk of the time. Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: MANTIS01 on April 20, 2010, 09:58:23 PM Villain's strat is quite haphazard so I don't know how you can pin that down to just strength. I don't know why villain would weak lead a tp hand on the flop or why he'd just ejaculate his chips in at the sight of the gin turn card. Senseless strat wide range imo. Hero can play A-K this way so villain can still figure he's got FE.

Okie dokie, I felt like I had to call largely because of the flush draw... I think if the guy is going to donk with the flush draw then he is very likely just to ship it in once you rr on the flop. Title: Re: QQ on paired board Post by: MC on April 23, 2010, 01:58:01 PM Fold. Lolz Easy game when you can see the cards innit? |
